About the Role
Cincinnati Dental Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Edgewood - Freedom Park. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care and education to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other team members to ensure seamless care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Current dental hygienist license in KY and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
