Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and educating patients and their families about pain management and treatment options.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest pain management techniques, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Experience: One year of clinical experience in a procedural area, preferably in pain management.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required. Pain Management Certification a plus.
- Licenses: Valid New Jersey RN license required.
