Electrophysiology Specialist Opportunity

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team in Hampton, VA.

Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Specialist will assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants. This role requires providing patient care to all electrophysiology patients, acquiring and reducing pertinent information related to their procedures, and providing didactic and clinical training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and device implants
  • Provide patient care to electrophysiology patients
  • Acquire and reduce pertinent information related to patient procedures
  • Provide training and education to team members
Requirements:
  • High School Grad or Equivalent
  • Graduate of cardiovascular technology or Bachelor's Level Degree preferred
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registry eligible required
  • 1 year of related work experience preferred
