Senior Risk Management Engineer

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our loss prevention team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments and consulting with clients on fire, explosion, and natural hazard risks.
This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the world's most influential organizations, helping them understand risk and protect their assets. You will develop strong working relationships with our clients and help them identify, quantify, and reduce risks to their business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage field, office, and project work for clients within a wide range of industries.

- Advise on property protection and develop solutions supported by our extensive research base and unique scientific expertise.
- Manage and execute follow-ups until completion.
- Work independently and operate from a home office.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, fire protection).
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience (loss prevention experience preferred).
- Familiarity with industrial loss prevention.
- Interest in climate resiliency a plus.
- An eagerness to learn across a broad range of industries and types of hazards.
- Good analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Independent and focused within a home office environment, with strong planning and time management skills with minimal supervision.
- Results-driven and self-motivated.
- Solid technical aptitude including diverse knowledge of engineering principles.
- Strong verbal and written English communications skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products.
- Physically able to lift 25 pounds, able to climb ladders, and experience heights.
- Authorization to work in the US.
- Valid driver's license.

The salary range for this position is $78,500 to $115,000, with the final salary offer varying based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
