Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice of a radiologic technologist. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure that patients receive high-quality imaging services and accurate diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold still.
- Operate imaging equipment, including adjusting settings and monitoring images in real-time.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography (R) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Arizona Department of Health Services - CRT licensure required.
