Field Geologist

RESPEC is seeking a highly skilled Field Geologist to join our team in Tampa or Sarasota, FL.
We are a global, 100% employee-owned consulting and services company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges for private and public clients. Our expertise spans water, mining, energy, natural resources, and infrastructure services.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Engineering, or a similar scientific field, with 3+ years of experience and a Geologist-in-Training certificate. They will be able to work in the field for extended periods, sometimes under adverse weather conditions, and be willing to stay overnight near the project site if necessary.
Key qualifications include:
- Geologic and groundwater field data collection and analysis experience
- Well drilling oversight, coring, packer, and aquifer performance testing experience
- Technical report writing skills
- Regulatory submittal experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, AQTESOLV, STRATER, and other technical software
