Job Title: Marine Carpenter 1st Class

We are seeking a skilled Marine Carpenter 1st Class to join our team at Ameri-Force. As a Marine Carpenter 1st Class, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, wood and metal deck structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair bulkheads, wood and metal articles, interior wood finishes, cabin accessories, wood and metal deck structures.
  • Responsible for the proper mounting of furniture, racks, and bins, partition bulkheads, decorative ceilings, and false decks, as well as other outfitting items.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Joiner or related craft experience in shipfitting, carpentry, or sheetmetal.
  • Ability to pass the Tacker Certification test.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Master Tech Certification.
