Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a Travel Contract position in our Critical Care Unit/Intensive Care Unit. As a Travel Nurse with our agency, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Critical Care Unit/Intensive Care Unit, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the healthcare team.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in relevant continuing education programs to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with physicians, other managers, and staff to provide exceptional patient care and service excellence.
Requirements
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
- Minimum of three to seven years of Critical Care Unit/Intensive Care Unit experience.
- One to two years of Telemetry RN experience.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
- COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
