Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patient calls and make timely care decisions, scheduling appointments or directing patients to emergency care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions on medication use, test results, and health maintenance guidance.
  • Administer injections, medications, and dress wounds, while assisting with minor surgery and related tasks.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection and test preparations.
  • Manage prescription refills and medication orders via electronic medical records.
  • Inform patients of test results and provider recommendations, while training new medical assistants and nurses.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum of 5 years triage experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
  • Preferred: OB/GYN experience and BSN degree.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
