Job Summary

AEG is seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Staff member to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide direct services to guests, including answering questions, directing guests to important areas of the venue, and providing additional assistance as needed.
  • Ticketing and Access Control: Scan tickets for entry into the venue, administer applicable wristbands for event entrance, and ensure that guests are aware of venue policies and procedures.
  • Coat Check and Baggage Handling: Operate the coat check rooms within established guidelines and procedures, and ensure that guests' belongings are secure and easily accessible.
  • Guest Resolution and Safety: Greet guests, resolve guest complaints, and escalate concerns as necessary. Monitor guest conduct to ensure a safe and secure environment for all, and enforce all policies and procedures of the venue.
  • Accessibility and Seating: Assist ADA patrons, seat guests, and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Emergency Response: Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team, communicating with and directing guests during a facility emergency.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or its equivalency
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Skills: Ability to work in varying conditions, lift 50 lbs. without assistance, and possess a positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
  • Availability: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed according to venue schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Events: Previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry preferred.
