We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, establishing and maintaining high standards of quality care.
- Monitor medication therapies in relation to patient age, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Interpret and apply guidelines and procedures, communicating clearly with patients, hospital/medical staff, and the public.
- Supervise pharmacy supportive personnel and ensure effective working relationships.
- Licensed by the Board of Pharmacy to practice pharmacy in South Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited A.C.P.E. College of pharmacy.
- Previous hospital experience or suitable hospital experience during pharmacy education or internship is required.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. You may be exposed to high noise levels, bright lights, and physical altercations. You will also be required to use physical restraints and may be exposed to human blood and other potentially infectious materials.
