Norman Regional Health System is an accredited primary stroke center and a leader in providing award-winning healthcare services. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining a culture of respect and teamwork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and reassessing the health care needs of individuals, analyzing assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, and implementing and coordinating care through interventions to achieve goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment/Reassessment: Systematically assesses/reassesses the health care needs of individuals, appropriate for specific age groups and patient conditions.
  • Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes: Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, involving patient, family, and other healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Implementation and Coordination of Care: Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs, guided by current evidence-based practice, regulations, and policy.
  • Evaluation: Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred.
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining are required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Shift differentials are available, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
