Job Summary:

The Charge Nurse (RN) position at Cantex is responsible for overseeing the provision of patient care services. This role requires a graduate from an accredited nursing school with a current and valid license in the appropriate State. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is also required. The Charge Nurse will ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with accepted standards of practice, observe and assess patient conditions, and report any changes. This role also involves administering medication and treatments as prescribed, receiving and executing physicians' orders, and evaluating and implementing patient care plans. Additionally, the Charge Nurse will direct and monitor the timely delivery of quality patient care by subordinate staff, ensure a safe environment is maintained, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with accepted standards of practice
* Observe and assess patient conditions and report any changes
* Administer medication and treatments as prescribed
* Receive and execute physicians' orders
* Evaluate and implement patient care plans
* Direct and monitor the timely delivery of quality patient care by subordinate staff
* Ensure a safe environment is maintained

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited nursing school and holds a current and valid license in the appropriate State
* Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting
* Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language
