Childcare Cook/Floater

Job Summary:

As a Cook/Floater at Discovery Point, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing environment for children in our care. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare meals and snacks that meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also be responsible for ensuring that meals and snacks are ready at scheduled times and that food is prepared and served according to approved menus and health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals and snacks for children in our care
• Ensure that meals and snacks are ready at scheduled times
• Prepare and serve food according to approved menus and health and safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Assist in classrooms as needed

Qualifications:

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
• Ability to be trained in food service certification
• Ability to be trained in CPR, Fire Safety, and Nutrition
• Must be able to meet state background check requirements
• Experience in childcare and teaching experience
