At StandardAero, we're committed to excellence in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field. As an Aircraft Engine Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling aircraft engines, modules, components, and accessories to ensure compliance with established company standards, contractual obligations, and airworthiness regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct troubleshooting and repair of turbine engines, including disassembly and assembly of various models.
  • Inspect engine parts to detect physical defects and evaluate parts for repairability or scrap.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools and technical publications to ensure proper documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement processes and practices that ensure flight and product efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of experience in gas turbine engine/components maintenance and repair.
  • Previous engine maintenance experience in the aerospace field on turbine engines, with Honeywell, Rolls Royce, and/or Pratt and Whitney experience preferred.
  • FAA Power Plant license required or must be acquired within 1 year of job award.
  • Computer literacy skills and ability to read, interpret, and understand technical manuals and work specifications.
