About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Cash Leader to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our finance organization, you will play a critical role in driving business results and supporting optimal decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to analyze cash flow and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize cash management practices.
  • Provide training and support to regional teams on financial analysis and cash management best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze financial metrics, including DSO, under-billed jobs, and aged AR, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash collections and reduce disputes.
  • Assist in conducting trade working capital financial performance reviews and identifying root causes of performance issues.
  • Prepare and report on the status of disputes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Complete quarterly audits on accounts payable to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Work with regional cash leaders and finance directors to establish collection goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Identify barriers to cash collections and propose solutions, including training and process improvements.
  • Review monthly financial results and business metrics for the region and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with monthly regional performance reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on cash management and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, and inventory management.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with ERPs, such as SAP, iScala, or Oracle, is preferred.
