Rehabilitation Specialist

Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic LLC is a leading provider of specialized physical therapy services. We offer expert care utilizing the latest advancements in rehabilitation, working closely with physicians to produce superior patient outcomes.

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at the Zachary Clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients referred to the Physical Therapy & Hand Center.
• Formulate specific plans of treatment and goals for each patient relative to their individualized physical therapy needs.
• Implement the physical therapy services defined in the patient care plans after receiving physical approval.
• Supervise, as needed, the administration of physical therapy services by physical therapy assistants and aides, athletic trainers, and exercise physiologists.
• Participate in plan of treatment reviews, patient case review conferences, patient assessment and reassessments.
• Ensure the timely completion of all required documentation of patient care activities.
• Provide educational services to patients and families.
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians and other referral sources to maximize patient care, develop new programs, and grow therapy volume.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A current and valid license under the applicable state laws to practice physical therapy.
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy curriculum.
• Successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support training.
• Maintenance of a current CPR card.
• The ability to pass a drug screening.

We offer a competitive salary, ranging between $70,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
