Endoscopy Lab Technician

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Lab Technician to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ.

About the Role

This is a day shift, full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. As an Endoscopy Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of the RN professional and maintaining a safe patient area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of the RN professional
  • Maintain a safe patient area
  • Participate in the daily plan of care for patients in accordance with established nursing and facility policy/procedures
  • Perform daily activities including decontamination and processing of endoscopes
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Endo Tech experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare facility
  • Certified Nursing Assistant and/or nursing student enrolled in a Nursing program
