Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Hamdan Resources, LLC. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, configuration, testing, and evaluation of commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) data and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and modify system scripts to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Write standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials.
  • Provide onsite training to technical and non-technical users on the daily use, management, and troubleshooting of the solution after installation.
  • Support all Cross-Domain solution requirements and collaborate with other operations departments to design approved infrastructure.
  • Serve as the escalation contact during large outages for Tier 2 and 3 systems.
  • Author network Engineering Design Packages, including detailed implementation project plans and procedures.
  • Configure network, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements.
  • Perform network design and systems integration, designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining complex secure communications networks.
  • Manage, update, and harden VMWare and VDI infrastructure, configuring and managing PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions.
  • Configure firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems, VPN gateways, wireless controllers from various vendors.
  • Document configuration, test procedure, results, and training materials, preparing test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards.
  • Provide customer on-site training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshooting, providing customer on-site solution installation and integration.
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 support as part of a technical team, identifying and recommending hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex network developments, enhancing department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Apply DoD STIGs and IAVAs, performing special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Active Top Secret OR active Secret with completed T5 investigation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree may be used to substitute 2 years of experience).
  • 12+ years of experience in engineering.
  • 8570 IAT II certification, including CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, and SSCP.
  • Professional Systems Certification (e.g., MCSA, Linux, etc).
