About the Role

Sunrise Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our Adult Family Home team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support and assistance to clients with daily living activities, such as personal grooming, shopping, housekeeping, and recreational outings.
  • Encourage healthy habits and provide education on nutrition, meal planning, and food preparation.
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medications and monitoring side effects.
  • Document services provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Manager to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and client-centered care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; HCA or CNA certification preferred.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
