Ambulatory Nursing Care Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Ambulatory Nursing Care Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality healthcare services in a correctional setting.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care that meets or exceeds established standards, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Adhere to University Health System (UHS) and Detention Health Care Services (DHCS) policies and procedures.
**Requirements and Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Vocational Nursing in the State of Texas.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Experience in correctional health care, psychiatric nursing, or nursing in an emergency environment preferred.
- Prior knowledge or experience within the University Health nursing services and/or certification as a Certified Correctional Health Care Provider (CCHP) is also preferred.
**Estimated Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is $ 65,000 per year, based on industry standards and market rates.
