The InsideHigherEd is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Automotive Technology Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum in the Automotive Technology program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum in the Automotive Technology program.
  • Prepare and provide students with course outlines that support learning objectives.
  • Develop and measure learning outcomes.
  • Assess student performance and maintain grade records.
  • Create an effective learning environment through the use of various instructional methods.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to complete program reviews and revise curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay current in the field.
  • Participate in department and college meetings and committees.
  • Support the college's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Five (5) years of work experience in the automotive industry.
  • Applicable ASE certifications.
  • Pennsylvania Inspection and Emission Licenses.
  • Certifications and licenses must be maintained.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary teaching experience.
  • Work experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of industry-related software and systems.
