Network and Computer Systems Administrator Opportunity

Chenega MIOS is seeking a highly skilled Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our team in the Patuxent River area. This role will support a Department of Defense (DoD) client and require the ability to work independently and effectively within a team setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), data communications networks, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
  • Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
  • Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
  • Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
  • Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
  • May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience OR
  • High school diploma or GED and active CSWF certifications: CSWF Code 451 or CCISSP and CASP+
  • Top Secret with SCI-eligible clearance
