Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to women before, during, and after delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery nursing and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including monitoring vital signs and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
Requirements
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
