Job Summary:

This position is accountable for the day-to-day implementation of family-centered programs and services across Maryland.

The ideal candidate will serve as the Lead Coordinator and Technical Assistance provider for Maryland's Chapter of the Circle of Parents National, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support groups and family engagement initiatives.

The work requires staff supervision, program development, and maintenance of statewide program sites and affiliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement family-centered programs and services that promote healthy relationships and community engagement.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to program staff and community partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Supervise and manage program staff, ensuring effective program implementation and staff development.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure program sustainability and growth.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field.
  • Master's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years' experience working in human or social services.
  • 1 year experience working directly with families or children in community or group settings.
  • 1 year supervisory or administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of child development and parenting skills building.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to travel to various program sites and communities.
