Ultrasound Diagnostic Technologist

**Job Description:**

Ascension is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Diagnostic Technologist to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound exams to detect vascular diseases.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong knowledge of ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate patients for the presence of vascular disease using ultrasound technology.
  2. Perform ultrasound exams, record patient test results, and report findings to physicians.
  3. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required:
    • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Estimated Salary Range:$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
