We are seeking a qualified and caring individual to join our team as an Afternoon Assistant at the Bennington Early Childhood Center. This is a unique opportunity to work with children aged 2-5 or 2:30-4:30 each day, providing a safe and engaging environment for their growth and development.

• Care for children by assisting with daily routines, including diaper changes, toileting, and dressing for outdoor play.
• Engage in play activities with children, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Serve snacks and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate (or equivalent).
• Must be willing to complete online mandated reporter training, Vermont childcare orientation, and CPR/1st aid certification for infants and children.

• Early childhood education coursework or Fundamentals of Early Childhood Education training.
