Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to collect vital data and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver high-quality patient care by utilizing evidence-based practices and Inova's Nursing Professional Practice Model.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve maximum productivity and desired outcomes.
- Accurately document patient care activities and seek assistance from colleagues to enhance documentation skills.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Successfully integrate novice nursing abilities with new knowledge and skills to provide safe and high-quality patient care.
- Attend and participate in all learning sessions assigned for successful completion of the Registered Nurse Fellowship.
- May serve as a preceptor following appropriate orientation and competency completion.
- More than 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an associate's degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
- Proficient computer skills required.
