Job Summary:

MEDICUS HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS is seeking a skilled OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage at a hospital located in the Pacific Northwest region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the hospital's obstetric and gynecological services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour call shifts to ensure seamless patient care
  • Collaborate with the hospital's Level IV NICU team to provide comprehensive care to newborns and their families
  • Deliver approximately 240 total hospital deliveries per month
  • Offer GYN coverage and support midwives and family practice physicians as needed
  • Work closely with in-house anesthesia staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Meet the hospital's requirements for board certification and maintain current licensure
  • Enjoy paid travel and lodging arrangements as part of your compensation package

Requirements:

  • Board certification in OB Hospitalist or related specialty
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Washington
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
