We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to join our team at FIS Global. As an IT Architect, you will play a critical role in designing the foundation for our global fintech platforms, ensuring they perform and scale efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Define and maintain a library of functional component models for FIS product lines.
- Document functional product solutions and key FIS financial services opportunities.
- Maintain a catalogue of reusable functional application components relevant for applications and product lines.
- Expertise in end-to-end systems development life cycles and a background leading large projects.
- Five or more years in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment, working with relational or hierarchical databases.
- Experience designing and implementing applications in a shared service bureau environment.
- Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model-driven design-based tools and techniques.
- A bachelor's in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience – post-graduate education desired.
- Five years solution architect experience, with expertise in architecting solutions across multiple tiers, incorporating 3rd party or hosted solutions, and considering performance/scale.
- Three years AWS solutioning experience, with knowledge of how to architect solutions leveraging Lambda, S3, Fargate, ALB, Redis, CloudWatch, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Postgres, API gateway, and HA/DR concepts achieved through AWS Regions and availability zones.
- Seven years Java development experience, with expertise in core Java, Threading/Completable futures, SpringBoot, MVC/WebFrameworks, REST, Data access, etc.
- Five years exposure to client-side SPA technologies such as React and/or Angular.
- Five years CI/CD concepts/tools experience, with knowledge of Git, Harness, pipelines, and other relevant tools.
