Job Overview

Black Apple Cidery is seeking a skilled Cider Mixologist to join our team. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages, including our signature cider-based cocktails, classic cocktails, and diverse range of ciders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a focus on cider-based cocktails.
  • Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take beverage orders and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and refine the cocktail menu.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest concerns or complaints promptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve your knowledge of mixology and cider.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktails.
  • Familiarity with cider and an enthusiasm for learning about our products.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a craft beverage or cider-focused establishment.
  • Creativity in developing new drink recipes.
  • Certification in bartending or mixology.
