Coffee Specialist

FUSION/Poverty Bay Café is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Barista/Server to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious, high-quality beverages and meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of espresso-based drinks, blended beverages, and teas, as well as serving food items and providing excellent customer service.

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages using manual espresso machines and other equipment.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to guests, answering questions about our menu and products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all sanitation standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including heating pastries and serving prepared meals.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a barista in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso preparation techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
