Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Expert to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the maintenance and repair of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  2. Lead and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and training to junior technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and safety within the team.
  3. Coordinate with Inspection and Quality Control: Collaborate with inspection and quality control teams to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  4. Manage Customer Property and Equipment: Properly identify, store, and maintain customer property and equipment, ensuring secure and safe storage.
  5. Operate and Supervise Specialized Equipment: Operate and supervise the use of special support equipment in the removal and installation of major components.
  6. Coordinate Aircraft Movement: Coordinate the movement of aircraft as required, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  7. Mentor and Train New Employees: Act as a mentor and assist in training new employees in CMPs, maintenance manuals, SRMs, IPC usage, flight test installations, Solumina, RS compliance records, and all maintenance of major components.
  8. Participate in SMS and Problem-Solving Initiatives: Participate in Safety Management Systems (SMS) and problem-solving initiatives, including investigations and participation in Site Safety Council.
  9. Assist in Maintaining Work Schedules: Assist in maintaining current knowledge of industry standards, vendor information, and all other procedures, pubs, and a general knowledge pertaining to product support maintenance.
  10. Identify and Recommend Risk Mitigation Options: Identify risk and recommend mitigation options to leadership.
Requirements
  1. Advanced Knowledge of Inspection and Maintenance Procedures: Possess advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems within each aircraft product line.
  2. Advanced Knowledge of FAA Regulations and Company Policies: Possess advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
  3. Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
