PVC Materials Handler

Job Summary

The Yard Worker is a key member of our production team, responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials from the yard to the production area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading PVC pipe onto flatbed trailers, inspecting for damage and verifying quantities
  • Organizing pipe in the yard area and maintaining storage areas and gravel roads
  • Cycle counting of PVC pipe and cutting pipe with skill saw
  • Transporting scrap PVC material to the regrind area and monitoring trash and cardboard compactors
  • Fueling and pre-shift inspections of equipment and working closely with inventory control
Requirements
  • High School diploma or certificate of completion
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment
  • Ability to read a tape measure and communicate effectively in English
  • Understanding and adherence to established work procedures and safety guidelines
Working Conditions

This role requires good mobility, involves considerable routine walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. It also involves working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions.
