Job Overview

The Senior SAP Solution Architect at GSSR Inc. is responsible for leveraging extensive expertise to collaborate with diverse teams across various locations. This role focuses on defining, delivering, and supporting IT-enabled business solutions specifically for Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and utilize specialized knowledge to work with Quality and Operations teams to define detailed User Stories for IT enablement.
  • Interpret challenges and recommend optimal solutions or best practices.
  • Utilize industry best practices to identify business needs and design effective technical solutions for Quality Assurance, in partnership with Application and Infrastructure teams.
  • Act as a core member of agile sprint teams to configure and develop optimal technical features and solutions.
  • Deliver technical functionality that meets the defined business requirements as outlined in User Stories.
  • Provide ongoing system support and maintenance in alignment with established standards and processes.
  • Create and maintain essential system lifecycle documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids.
  • Participate in the Change Control process to ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Exhibit reliable attendance and adhere to all safety and quality policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, including at least three full implementations of SAP PP solutions.
  • Preferred qualifications include Agile & Scrum Certification and ITIL.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of SAP system functionality, particularly in PP and related areas (QM, MM, PM).
  • Familiarity with Shop Floor and Manufacturing Interfaces (MES).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest ERP releases.
  • Preferred strong knowledge of HANA.
  • Ability to thrive in a virtual, global environment and effectively prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Proficient English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required.
  • Commitment to adhering to relevant SOPs as per company policy.
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma initiatives aimed at achieving set targets.
  • Consistent compliance with the company's safety and quality policies.

Travel Requirements:

  • 15% travel, including international travel.
  • Occasional on-call work may be required.
