Job Summary: Arxada is seeking a skilled Over the Road Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering loads in a safe and timely manner, adhering to both Arxada policy and DOT requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver all local and OTR loads in a safe and timely manner, including pre-planning trips based on weather, length of haul, and delivery times.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for transporting hazard materials according to Arxada policy and DOT requirements.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and all safety equipment is up to date as required by Arxada and DOT.
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS, or other navigational devices to minimize fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an over the road driver.
  • Hazmat and bulk endorsement, passport, and TWIC card. Ability to pass a DOT physical.
