Job Opportunity: Academic Neonatologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Neonatologist to join our team at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical care for neonatology patients, including shared night call and weekend responsibilities at our Level III/IV Newborn Intensive Care Units.
  • Contribute to active clinical programs, such as transfusion medicine, neonatal hematology, ECMO, whole body hypothermia, NeuroNICU, perioperative care, and all aspects of neonatal critical care.
  • Pursue scholarly research, including individual or collaborative research, grant development, and written/oral presentations of research, with mentoring support.
  • Teach and supervise neonatology fellows, pediatric residents, and medical students during inpatient service and clinics.
Requirements:
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Excellent procedural and clinical skills.
  • Ability to conduct research activities.
