Delicatessen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Deli Associate to join our team at The Giant Company. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

• Provide quality customer service, answering questions, making recommendations, and promoting products through suggestive selling.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package deli products, maintaining proper shelf, case, and display conditions.
• Maintain cooler conditions, including coding, rotating, organizing cases of product, and cleaning.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Ability to use, or learn to use, equipment and tools used to perform the job.

This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, heights, and loud noises. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required, including cut-resistant gloves when working with knives or blades.
