Position Overview

Important Note: This is a short-term assignment. Candidates must confirm their understanding of the assignment duration during the application process.

Role Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) plays a crucial role within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities include:

  • Application and monitoring of medical gases
  • Mechanical ventilator support
  • Artificial airway management
  • Bronchopulmonary hygiene techniques
  • Administration of pharmacological agents related to respiratory care
  • Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation related to respiratory care

Additional duties may encompass EEGs, EKGs, and ABGs, while PFTs are not required for this position. Please note that only RRTs will be considered for this role.

Submission Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric respiratory therapy
  • Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Valid state license
  • Prior travel experience of at least one year
  • Ability to perform intubation and manage critical care ventilators
