Key Responsibilities- Organize and provide nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
- Respond to emergency calls and assist ambulance teams in medical services and patient transportation.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school or college of nursing.
- Prior critical care experience preferred.
- Current nursing licensure in the state(s) of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of being oriented to the ED.
