Responsibilities:


As a pediatric dental support specialist, you will play a vital role in our office, performing a range of tasks under the direction of our dentists.

These may include:

  • Preparing equipment and sterilizing instruments
  • Preparing patients for treatment, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed
  • Assisting our dentists during procedures, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Providing patients with instructions on oral healthcare procedures, empowering them to maintain good oral health
  • Performing administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and billing

Qualifications:


We require:

  • Dental assistant certification, where necessary
  • X-ray certification
  • Nitrous oxide certification, preferred
  • Maintenance of annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training, as required by law
  • Experience with relevant dental software
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
