Job Summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Dispatcher to join our team. As a Store Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of auto parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling of deliveries and dispatch delivery drivers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of auto parts
  • Verify the accuracy of customer orders and ensure that the correct parts are delivered to the right customers
  • Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity
  • Monitor and analyze delivery performance using our Delivery Management System to identify areas for improvement
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Inspect returned parts and cores to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure they are in safe and proper working order

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Pay is $17.25 per hour
