This position collaborates with stakeholders to assess system requirements, translating these needs into functional and technical specifications, while also providing recommendations for technology solutions to address application process challenges.

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Upholds the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.

2. Analyzes, develops, modifies, and maintains application processes and technologies, utilizing proprietary software tools as necessary. This includes making adjustments to program code to correct errors and enhance operational efficiency.

3. Evaluates client specifications and provides recommendations to convert them into functional and technical specifications; assists clients in developing Information Technology requests and timelines for implementation.

4. Builds professional relationships with internal and external clients to improve their experiences with the technology and computer systems.

5. Anticipates the effects that new or modified software may have on existing standards and systems.

6. Troubleshoots computer issues, including workflow, hardware, and software problems; resolves incidents according to established service level agreements and collaborates with IT resources to develop effective solutions.

7. Recommends updates to system documentation to accurately describe system processes, installation, operating procedures, and training materials.

8. Applies standard testing methodologies to review and test new and modified systems, ensuring thorough testing scripts are utilized and obtaining necessary approvals.

9. Commits to continuous improvement of the patient experience, focusing on safety, quality of care, and service excellence.

10. Participates in the development of implementation timelines in collaboration with colleagues and operations; engages in the installation and testing of applications while monitoring their performance.

11. Adheres to departmental processes, including time tracking and change management.

12. Participates in a support rotation to provide timely assistance to clients.

13. Provides updates to stakeholders regarding system enhancement requests and issues requiring resolution.

14. Evaluates operational workflows and system features, contributing to gap analysis and decision-making processes.

15. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to refine processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

An associate's or technical degree in information technology, medical, allied health, or business is required. Epic certification is also required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
