Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tree Care Specialist to join our team at Joshua Tree Experts. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, and wood chipper operations. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the safety of our crew and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist crew with equipment and vehicle preparation daily
  • Ensure that drop zones are safe for coworkers and public
  • Perform pruning and reducing
  • Safely use tree care operations equipment
  • Load and unload trucks and chippers with logs, brush, and debris
  • Reports to work on time each day
  • Follow directions from crew leaders and climbers
  • Maintain professional image
  • Provide friendly and excellent customer service
  • Maintain and service equipment, as needed
  • Follows safety culture and safety procedures
  • Set up safety and traffic control measures for job sites

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two year experience in Tree Care Operations
  • Valid driver's license
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to work 40 hours or more each week
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively
  • First Aid and CPR Certified is preferred
