Job Title: Underground Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Northern Star (Pogo) LLC in Alaska. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading the underground electrical team in a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the underground electrical team in a safe and productive work environment
  • Ensure all work practices and procedures meet statutory, Company OHS&E, and Company operational standards
  • Complete monthly schedule compliance work to a high standard
  • Installation, maintenance, and repairs of underground electrical systems and infrastructure
  • Liaise closely with Project Manager and other key stakeholders
  • Rigorous cost management and avoidance of rework and unnecessary use of parts/services
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Underground Electrician
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in the Electrical or Maintenance field
  • Proven successes at mentoring and leading a diverse team
  • Journeyman License preferred
  • Sound understanding of underground electrical maintenance principles and their application in practice
  • High level of knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to underground electrical maintenance and classified plant
  • Good Computer literacy and communication skills
