Job Title: Test Management Engineer III

At Daimler Truck North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Test Management Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our Verification and Release Management department, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the overall testing process for our cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of software testing from development through final release.
  • Work closely with teams and individual developers to create effective test plans and strategies.
  • Lead testing team round table workshops to define and execute feature, function, and system-level tests.
  • Evaluate specifications regarding customer requirements and guide transformation into technically correct solutions.
  • Develop and execute test plans and testing strategies on a requirement basis for overall testing strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of testing efforts.
  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test coverage matrices.
  • Mentor and guide other test engineers.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or the foreign equivalent, plus 5 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Alternatively, 7 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Experience with software development and/or software testing, component and feature development, coordinating EE projects, designing, diagnosing, or troubleshooting vehicle EE systems, verifying software to a SW development process, and software configuration and change management.
  • At least two years of experience in CAN network protocols.

  • Annual salary of $135,163.35.

Additional Information:

This position requires up to 20% international travel. Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application.
