About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Catholic Medical Center, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and psychosocial status to inform care plans.
  • Employ critical thinking skills to solve problems and achieve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Provide mentorship and support to colleagues to enhance team performance.
  • Participate in clinical committees to drive exceptional care and improve patient outcomes.
Our Operating Room:

Catholic Medical Center's Operating Room is a state-of-the-art facility with 10 operating rooms, including 2 dedicated to cardiovascular surgery. We perform over 6,500 surgical cases annually, offering a wide range of specialties, including neurology and spine surgery.

Work Schedule:

Our OR team works 10- or 12-hour shifts, with weekend coverage and call rotations based on departmental needs. You may be required to cover patient care needs by rotating or working extra shifts.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • A current, unencumbered RN license in the State of New Hampshire.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (preferred).
  • BSN degree (strongly preferred).
