Physician MDA

About the Role

A Physician MDA is a medical professional responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading the medical team at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. As a member of Aiken Physicians Alliance, you will work closely with a team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and staff to provide compassionate and quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional medical care to patients in accordance with the professional standards of care, quality, and practice controls and policies.
Provide call coverage for the office as scheduled by the group.
Provide uncompensated days of emergency department call coverage for the hospital per month, consistent with the Medical Staff Bylaws and by specialty.
Perform the particular duties assigned by the group from time to time.
Keep and maintain appropriate records, reports, claims, and correspondence necessary and appropriate in connection with all professional services rendered under employment and as required by group policies and procedures.
