Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Depot Driver to join our team at United Distributors Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products to customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products from vehicles and verify contents against shipping invoices or inventories
  • Operate within legal speed limits and maintain a safe driving record
  • Build and maintain excellent customer service by delivering orders on time and in good condition
  • Comply with Department of Transportation standards and regulations
  • Unload and deliver products at assigned stops using pallet jack or forklift
  • Verify count and condition of goods unloaded and accurately report any discrepancies
  • Report customer needs and concerns to management and participate in delivering resolutions
Requirements
  • 3 years of direct experience in a similar position preferred
  • Proven experience in delivery and warehouse operations
  • Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
  • Ability to drive and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to secure and maintain auto-liability insurance
Working Conditions

Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and inclement weather

Able to work occasionally in refrigerated areas

Able to work in an environment with moderate noise levels

Regular, reliable attendance required

Physical Requirements
  • Able to frequently use hand trucks, stairs, ramps, and docks
  • Able to talk and hear, stand and walk, sit, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
  • Able to down stack and relocate large amounts of product weighing up to 180 lbs
  • Able to safely operate electric or manual pallet jack and/or forklift
