Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Tait & Associates, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the environmental compliance of our clients' fuel systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete required training classes and certifications to obtain position-specific qualifications.
  • Diagnose and perform repairs on Underground Storage Tank (UST) and Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) systems.
  • Work with handheld tools, including pipe wrenches, pipe threaders, and voltmeters.
  • Enter inspection data and associated paperwork into online web-based data collection systems.
  • Complete project-related paperwork and submit on time.
  • Drive company work trucks to client job sites.
  • Follow all company-specific and client-specific job safety requirements.
Requirements
  • Valid and current driver's license.
  • Experience working with general handheld tools.
  • Organization and scheduling skills.
  • Previous experience with laptops, computers, and printers, as well as experience using email and Microsoft programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting reports and documents.
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with team members and clients.
Physical Requirements
  • Climbing ladders; carrying and using hand tools and parts; lifting sump lids with assistance.
  • Walking, driving, climbing, kneeling, standing to perform tasks at each site.
  • Ability to speak clearly and professionally to communicate with team members and clients.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle to job sites and drive extensive distances.
